Printer description
HP LaserJet 2100 series printers deliver 10 pages per minute with no compromise in quality. Two paper trays boost productivity. A 66 MHz processor and 4 MB of memory are standard for fast printing of complex pages. Fast Infrared and HP Jetsend deliver quick and easy walk up printing for a variety of PCs, palmtops and other digital devices.

True 1200 x 1200 dots per inch (dpi) text and graphics with 163 levels of gray.
Resolution Enhancement technology (REt) adjusts the size and placement of each dot on the page to produce smooth angles, curves, and edges (600 dpi only).

The HP UltraPrecise print cartridge part number C4096A, has a finer toner formulation, which provides sharper text and graphics.
Flexible paper handling
1.Adjustable Tray 1 for letterhead, envelops, labels, transparencies, custom-sized media, postcards, and heavy paper.
2.Adjustable Tray 2 or an optional 250-Sheet Input Tray (Tray 3) for standard sizes of paper.
3.Two output bins: select either the top output bin or the rear output bin for the most convenient output location. The Face-Down Output Bin, located on the top of the printer, has a 150-sheet capacity of 20-pound paper. The Face-Up Output Bin, a fold out bin located at the back of the printer, has a 150-sheet capacity of 20-pound paper.
4.Straight-through paper path capability from Tray 1 to the rear output bin.
Setting the Cold Reset Default
The customization variable will determine the default paper size after a cold reset. This is set to A4/Letter at the manufacturer. This variable may need to be reset when replacing the formatter.
